La Cote, Fre - Jean-Claude Biver, one of Swiss watchmaking's wonderkids, has turned around the Nyon-based brand Hublot, quadrupling its profits since he took over in 2004. He attributes his success to five factors - of which the first three are work, to which he adds help and luck. Biver, who previously headed Omega and Blancpain, says innovation is also part of the secret and one of his recent innovations is to hire retired watchmakers. (continue reading)→
