  • Crans-Montana winter Caprices festival, 7-11 March, with good snow on the slopes, at last: rock and ride.
  • Geneva motor show reminder, 8-18 March, Palexpo, Geneva. 10:00-20:00 Monday-Friday and 9:00-19:00 Saturday-Sunday. Adults SFr14, children SFr8. Tickets sold online, printed at home. Public transport is the best way to get there: in Geneva buy your car show ticket from the TPG (city transport) and your bus or tram rides are free. Get 10% off on combined CFF train-car show tickets purchased online from outside Geneva.
  • "Women in Physics," 13 March in Geneva. A look at Cern's work with and the growing role of women in the field, with Cern scientist Manuela Cirilli presenting.   • Gardens again ('tis the season, or nearly): 20 March, Geneva's botanical gardens and conservatory offer one-hour guided tours on a variety of themes.
