24 heures, Fre - Vaud's best nose was named by the Vaud Wine Office as part of its annual Jean Louis award. Luc Massy of Epesses, winemaker and oenologue, won the intensive three-day competition, taking the Chapeau Noir or Black Hat award for overall winner. The 85 contestants worked their way through a daunting array of reds, whites and AOC (denomination) wines in the competition's 65th year.
