Ticino hit hard by hail, heavy winds and rain, with flooding and mudslides
romandie/ats, Fre - Ticino was hit hard Thursday by violent storms with strong winds, rain and much hail throughout the canton. Police were called 40 times in one hour in the Sottoceneri area. Trees are down in several places and the autoroutes as well as lake quais had to be closed briefly due to heavy rain. Several mudslides have been reported. (continue reading)→
